Kathy’s journey began when her youngest child started kindergarten, prompting her to pursue a nursing career. After enrolling at Lake-Sumter State College, she was inspired by a cardiac nursing instructor, leading her to focus on cardiology. Kathy's career in cardiac care took off in 2008 when she joined UF Health Leesburg then Leesburg Regional as a patient care technician on the cardiac floor.

With years of experience in various cardiac specialties, Kathy has worked in the cath lab, assisted in open-heart surgeries for nearly eight years, and now serves as a Structural Heart Coordinator, impacting countless lives along the way.

making a gator gold gesture and exemplifying our UF Health
