Weā€™re celebrating Kenny, a beloved junior server at Holiday Country Squire. Since joining the team at sixteen, Kenny has brought energy, kindness and a fun spirit to every shift.

When asked about his favorite part of the job, Kenny didnā€™t hesitate: ā€œThe residents ā€“ they are all so sweet.ā€ One of his most meaningful memories was singing for them with his school choir last December.

"Thereā€™s a young man thatā€™s going to succeed," shares Barb, a resident. "Heā€™s already shown his love for others. The future needs more like him."

Kenny dreams of becoming a musician, learning piano, owning a home and traveling to Sicily. Weā€™re so proud of him and canā€™t wait to see what he does next!

"I donā€™t have any secret," laughs Marlin, an easy-going resident at Holiday Thornton Place who recently celebrated his birthday with a party in the community. "I just go along with whateverā€™s happening."

We had our Chef Showdown today at Greenwood Terrace. There was some confusion about who won, we had to crumble up a cookie to find the walnuts from Executive Chef Kristen Schrenk recipe. Long live our cookie queen GM Janet Haller.
