THE CHALLENGES OF FORGIVENESS

One of the most important parts of healing from past hurt is genuine heartfelt forgiveness. Unfortunately, because of subconscious beliefs and built in safety mechanisms inside the brain, we usually don’t forgive in a heartfelt way.

Instead, we forgive in an intellectual way; somehow justifying another person‘s behavior, because we want to be at peace.

Unfortunately, peace is usually temporary because emotional pain is held in the body, not in the intellectual mental mind, leaving us vulnerable to emotional triggers whenever we feel slighted.

To truly forgive a past hurt so the emotional pain can be released from the body, takes a better understanding of how the human mind works, how emotions get trapped in the body, and how seeing the bigger picture around our pain can help us build compassion, which leads to genuine heartfelt forgiveness.

I will share all of this and much more at the third annual Women’s Summit on Saturday March 28th, at the Hamlet Golf and Country Club.

This summit is going to be jampacked with an expert panel of speakers, fun activities, deep discussions, valuable connections, all supporting the health and wellness of women.

Ladies, we deserve this!

Direct message me for the registration link and to show yourself some love.

I look forward to seeing you there.

I had a fabulous time speaking at Marla Peck’s event this past Sunday to an amazing, curious and participating audience, as we got deep into discussing subconscious mind programming, and how to access this complicated part of the mind and reprogram it to align with our current goals.

Everyone brought a delicious homemade healthy meal to share during the lunch break and fabulous desserts for after my talk. It was a fantastic day and I am so grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned, for those that attended, purchased my books, and joined the conversation to make it super interesting and collaborative.
