Just a little fyi for those that may be confused, unsure, or have no idea about Medication Management.

Medication management means working with your healthcare provider to make sure your medications are safe, helpful, and still the right fit for you. This includes taking medications as prescribed and checking in about how they are working.

Regular visits and therapy sessions are an important part of this process. These appointments give you time to talk about how you are feeling, ask questions, and make changes to your treatment if needed.

Providers are not able to prescribe medications without seeing patients regularly. These visits are necessary to make sure medications are still safe, working properly, and not causing harmful side effects. Regular check-ins help protect your health and ensure you receive the best possible care.

Sometimes, something that has been working stops, or becomes less effective. Our primary goal is to provide safe service within the legal boundaries of prescriptive authority.

Thank you for choosing us, and if you are not with us, feel free to shoot us a message and ask questions!

HUUUGE update. After next month we will be debt free! Thank you to Walk This Way Media Official and David especially for taking a chance on us. Last January, we were looking at closing our doors after selling our personal possessions to keep the clinic afloat from September 2024-Jan 2025. Instead of leaving the valley after the clinic Christine worked for abruptly closed down, we an army of 2, sold all of our valuable possessions to support seeing her patients for no cost. We could not bill insurance, we could not get paid. The contracting and credentialling process takes a long time and we exhausted all of our funds and liquidated over 30,000 dollars worth of personal possessions. At the zero hour, David stepped in and supplied us with a loan for a significant amount when no one else would. David and WTWM did not know us from Adam. They took a chance. I am so happy to be able to prove their trust was not misplaced. This was crucial in allowing us to stay open just long enough to take Idaho Medicaid. Since then, we have gotten Blue Cross of Idaho, Regence Blue Shield, and all BCBS Blue card insurances to contract with us. Next up is Molina of Washington and Medicaid. This is a huge step forward for us. We are glad to have been able to stay open and help people. So, thank you David and Walk This Way Media Official for trusting in strangers to do the right thing. It is because of your trust that we are able to help so many.

Here is a little bit of information many people do not know about part of the process in getting insurance to pay for medications/services.

Sometimes, especially when starting a sensitive medication or expensive medication/procedure, insurance will require a prior authorization (PA) before they will pay for it or a pharmacy will fill medications.

Here is how the PA process works.

1. A service is requested or medication is sent to the pharmacy.
2. The physician or pharmacy sends the service/medication to insurance to cover the cost.
3. The insurance company will issue a PA request if the service/medication triggers a need for it.
4. The physician then sends the PA request for coverage to the insurance company.
5. The insurance company looks at the form and decides if they will pay for it or not. This process can take up to 7-10 days. In most cases it is within 48 hours. During this time, it is out of the pharmacy or providers hands as everyone is waiting on the decision to cover by insurance.
6. Once the PA comes back approved, the service can be rendered or the medication can be filled at the pharmacy.
7. If the PA comes back denied, the patient and physician need to work out other options regarding care or medication.

We hope this helps anyone understand just a bit more about how the healthcare process works.

Have a wonderful day!
