Hello members with chronic Lyme disease!
I am looking for research study participants. I want to hear your story.
I am a Nurse Practitioner student who is keenly aware of the suffering that many of you go through. I am conducting a qualitative study on chronic Lyme disease. The research question is: What is the lived experience (research vernacular) of patients with chronic Lyme disease? Your shared experiences can help the medical community gain additional insights into this phenomenon and ultimately impact the care of patients enduring this illness. A medical journal has already agreed to review the results. The format is through confidential, open-ended interviews, not to exceed one hour and can be virtual or in person if logistics allow. The qualifying criterion are: You must have a confirmed Lyme diagnosis and also have symptomatic Lyme associated illness persisting for 6 months or longer, have access to virtual technologies, be at least 18 years old and English speaking.
Please reach out to me via this post, direct message, or email. Your story is important. Additional information will be provided upon contact.
