Skin MD Lexington Skin MD is the practice of Samuel J. Pruden, MD, FACS, the only quintuple board certified dermatologist in the region.

My professional mission is to provide personalized, world class skin care to those in central Kentucky and beyond. Despite small numbers, we deliver big on innovation. I am the first in the state to offer image guided superficial radiation therapy for skin cancer, the first in the state to offer AMELUZ® gel photodynamic therapy using BF-RhodoLED®* lamp for “precancer” treatment, the only Mohs surgeon in the area offering frozen section immunohistochemistry, and the only dermatologic surgeon in the area who is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Know your options for treatment: individuals with non-melanoma skin cancer should be informed by their physicians and healthcare providers about all available treatment options. Image-guided SRT is an FDA cleared treatment option. SkinMD is the only office in Lexington offering this treatment!
