When Tom Adams faced the daunting prospect of needing both liver and kidney transplants, his medical team at UK HealthCare and UK King's Daughters collaborated seamlessly to address his complex health issues. After successfully treating his liver condition, the focus shifted to finding a kidney donor.

Happy Thursday! We are excited to showcase another exceptional provider at the UK HealthCare Transplant Center.

Meet Dr. Christina Delacruz Leyson, one of our outstanding Transplant Hepatologists. Dr. Leyson excels as the Medical Director of our Liver Transplant Program and the Program Director of the Hepatology Fellowship at UK HealthCare.

When asked why she chose transplant, Dr. Narula shared that she was drawn to the field of Lung and Heart-Lung transplantation because it held the promise of providing hope and life-changing care to patients confronting serious medical challenges.
