Yoga With Lauri

Yoga With Lauri 500 Hour RYT at
Liberty Community Center I have always enjoyed being physically active and spiritually curious. Prospect.

I started my yoga practice at a regular gym when they began offering yoga classes in January 2000. Seemed like an auspicious time for a new beginning! The first lesson learned was that yoga was a surprising physical challenge and, simultaneously, mentally soothing. I pursued this intriguing body/mind balance practice through several local yoga studios and master teacher workshops. In 2007, the pranic winds guided me into a most transformative collaboration with Gina Caputo and the teaching staff at Kansas Siddhi Yoga. After completing my 200 hours of yoga teacher training with Gina, I was excited to join the teaching staff of Zona Yoga lead by the ebullient, Kelly Collins. I teach yoga for Zona Yoga’s corporate clients in addition to a regular Sunday morning Vinyasa class. You can also find me Monday evenings in the beautifully appointed studio at The Wheel Cyclery off 1 Highway and N. No excuse to not take a yoga class in the Northland! I feel blessed to be able to take yoga’s focus, peace and strength off the mat and apply it to life’s constant caprices. Yoga provides a shelter of tranquility while supporting my husband with his Parkinson’s movement disorder. He's really hot so it's not all that hard. This ancient and beautiful practice crosses all boundaries and I want to share it with all who are ready for an auspicious new beginning. The beginnings that start with each new dawn.
