We added a Counseling Intern. If you're looking for a well-trained, wise, educated counselor but need a lower price point. Jill is your gal!

Check out her bio:
I am a counseling intern with a background in social work, including experience in crisis care. I have a passion for walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges. My experience includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), with a focus on helping clients increase self-awareness, regulate emotions, and achieve treatment goals. My approach focuses on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—creating a
safe, supportive space where clients can process their experiences, gain clarity, and feel genuinely seen and heard.

I have been married for 33 years and am the mother of two grown children. Our family
continues to grow, and I feel deeply grateful to welcome daughters-in-law into this meaningful new season of life. Over the years, I have experienced both deep joy and significant hardship, including the loss of loved ones, miscarriage, parenting challenges, supporting a child with learning differences, and navigating relational struggles. These experiences have shaped my perspective and deepened my compassion for others.
I believe that while life brings seasons of disappointment, rejection, stress, anxiety, depression, and grief, it also offers opportunities for growth, healing, peace, and renewed hope. In life’s darkest valleys, I have found that God’s Word faithfully provides light, direction, and hope. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can process their thoughts, gain clarity, and feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.

For those who are open to it, I thoughtfully integrate faith into the counseling process, believing that God invites us to ask, seek, and knock, and faithfully opens the door so we may move forward with clarity and purpose. No matter the season or transition you are facing, I am committed to walking alongside you—offering evidence-based techniques, practical tools, and compassionate care to help bring light and direction to your journey.

Welcome to our newest counselor, Lisa! She is accepting new clients and has openings.

Check out her bio:
After the tragic and unexpected loss of my husband in 2013, I experienced a deeply personal journey through grief, healing, and counseling. That journey led me to discover a renewed purpose and ultimately pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, which I completed in May 2020. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in October 2022.

As a Christian counselor, I integrate a biblical worldview with evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and IFS. I provide counseling for teens, adults, and couples seeking support with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, marriage counseling, communication challenges, identity concerns, boundaries, and major life transitions.

I am especially passionate about grief counseling and walking with clients through loss, trauma, and emotional pain toward healing and restoration. My approach is compassionate, faith-based, and grounded in proven therapeutic methods to help clients experience lasting change.

My faith in Jesus and my desire to help others find hope, healing, and joy are at the center of my work. I am committed to helping individuals and couples grow in emotional health, strengthen relationships, and move toward wholeness.

Because mental health is not just mental, we’ve added a Nurse Practitioner!

Check out Randol’s bio:

At the heart of Randol’s practice is a simple, profound commitment: ensuring every individual who walks through the door feels truly seen and deeply heard. As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Randol views medicine not as a clinical transaction, but as a calling to servanthood. By listening intently to each person’s unique story, she works with her clients to create personalized health journeys that honor the specific needs of individuals across the entire lifespan.

Rooted in a foundation of faith, Randol believes that every person is a masterpiece, deserving of care that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Her approach to functional medicine moves beyond the surface to uncover root causes, utilizing evidence-based wellness and restorative practices to help patients reclaim their vitality.

Randol considers it a privilege to partner with others on their journeys, helping them discover the root-cause healing they deserve so they can step into the fullness of who they were designed to be. Through the synthesis of comprehensive diagnostics, detailed health histories, and physical examinations, Randol constructs a highly personalized clinical roadmap. Rather than just managing issues, she collaborates with her clients to build a structured plan that prioritizes genuine restoration and functional vitality.

Please welcome our newest team member, Matt Breese. Check out his bio:

"I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for offering space to others where they can be seen, heard and changed. I treat individuals ages 5+, suffering from anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, personality disorders, career burnout, ’church-hurt’, grief and sexual addiction. I am a Certified Clinical Services Provider of ADHD and have over 9,000 hours of direct client care. As someone who has worked in various mental healthcare contexts, I have had the privilege of treating the homeless to the professional athlete and everyone in between.

Having been to awful and (thankfully) great therapists myself, my treatment approach is centered on developing a safe and trusting relationship with you so that I can truly know and help you. I use a combination of evidence-based approaches including CBT, Schema Therapy, IFS, ACT, DBT, Attachment Therapy and Narrative Therapy. These approaches help me find the ‘why’ behind your symptoms and the ‘what’ for feeling and being healthier. I will guide you with compassion, humor and my own personal experience of moving from hopeless to hopeful.

We will work together to discover healthy and unhealthy habits and other factors that are helping and hurting your efforts to be and feel well. I will provide the encouragement and accountability that is needed to not only provide symptom relief, but deep change.

Faith is a major part of my life, but I understand that is not the case for everyone and I do not ‘force’ my faith upon my clients.

I am fortunate to not only have my own story of redemption, but to also be united to someone who is well-versed in healing. I have been married for 15 years to a wonderful woman, who through her love of others and training in oncology, mental health and palliative care, has taught me much about human suffering and hope. Together we have two girls, who are wild, beautiful and spunky!"

Images of our Family Play Therapy room.

Play therapy is a powerful, child-centered approach that helps kids express what they can’t yet put into words. Through play—their natural language—children can work through big feelings, build coping skills, and strengthen confidence in a safe, supportive space. With a trained therapist guiding the process, play becomes more than “just fun”: it’s a meaningful pathway to healing, emotional regulation, and healthier relationships at home and school. 💛🧸✨
