Heather will speak on the power of a positive mindset, followed by a stretchy, all-level yoga class in a beautiful, warm studio. These ribbons will be displayed in Cook Park and along Milwaukee Ave for the month of May💚 in honor of National Mental Health Month. Together let’s stop the stigma and bring awareness to mental health.

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. Please join us, Libertyville Health & Mental Wellness, as we partner with Paws for Patrick and “Turn Our Town Green”. We need volunteers to help tie ribbons around trees in the village and pass out bracelets. Together with the community let’s help stop the stigma, provide resources and educate the public to support people and families with mental illness.

Every year millions of American face the reality of living with mental illness. May is National Mental Health Awareness Month and in an effort to break the stigma and raise awareness for mental health we want to “Turn Our Town Green”. Please join Libertyville Health & Mental Wellness as we partner with Paws for Patrick to raise awareness for mental health. Together with the community let’s fight, stop stigma, provide resources and educate the public to support people and families with mental illness.

Our goal is for green ribbons, which we will provide, to be tied on trees in Cook Park. We will also be giving away bracelets in honor of National Mental Health Awareness Month with our organization’s name and a tagline: “Your mental health matters” in support of National Mental Health Awareness Month. This initiative is for the entire month of May. So come out, grab a ribbon, show support and help us stop the stigma!
