So Yesterday, finally after 3 years of waiting I got to see the movie Sound Of Freedom! Coincidentally it came out on July 4th! Freedom Day! It has not been advertised like other movies get and it is one that I believe every person should take time to go and see to support this cause. If there was a curve ball to be thrown or challenge to overcome the people who put this movie together put up the fight to get it on the big screen. This movie is based on true events that happened and the events are still taking place and the battles are still are being fought daily. Human trafficking brings in more money than drug trafficking could think of bringing. A human, mostly children can be sold multiple times a day where as a bag of Co***ne only once. This is reality and many people when this topic is spoke of want to ignore and walk away from it. It makes people uncomfortable. I could not imagine how uncomfortable these babies must be! Like the movie said, " what if this was your child?" We wouldn't want to push it under the rug so easily then, right? I personally went through events as a child, as well as other family members. If I would have spoke up as a child it could of maybe helped others to not go through these events in their life. The things that happened to me do not compare to child trafficking but still matter and still happened. We have to teach our children to speak up for themselves and to not be scared or embarrassed about doing so. The more we can speak up for our children and teach them to stand up for themselves the more we as a people can do to put an end to this perversion and dark spirit in our world. It is a horrible sickness that many people battle. It is a learned sickness that starts usually at a young age. You either become part of it when grown or choose to not let it in your life. We need more chain breakers! Meaning more people to fight at putting an end to this! Gods children are not for sale! Watch the movie trailor below!
