People really still think that NARCISSISM is not a thing… women, men, and children are suffering because of the lack of knowledge about this personality disorder. These people suffer from an extreme sense of PRIDE and have the ability to deceive most people around them. They will do whatever it takes to make that victim look like they are delusional and try to assassinate their character at all costs. If you have a friend or loved one that maybe dealing with this type of person, offer help to get them out, and be strategic. It’s very serious and in some cases can be life threatening. If you need to talk to me about strategies, I’m here to help💜 Click the link in my bio to schedule a call. * narcissisticabuse

Practicing mindfulness can have many benefits for both physical and mental health. It can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, improve focus and concentration, and increase overall well-being.

Here are a few tips to help you practice mindfulness:

1. Start with the breath: Take a few deep breaths, and focus your attention on the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body.

2. Notice your thoughts: Allow your thoughts to come and go without judgment or attachment. Imagine them like clouds floating across the sky.

3. Tune into your senses: Notice what you can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch in the present moment. This can help you stay grounded and connected to the present.

4. Practice gratitude: Take a moment to reflect on things in your life that you're grateful for. This can help shift your focus from negative thoughts to positive ones.

5. Be kind to yourself: Remember that mindfulness is a practice, and it's okay if your mind wanders or you find it challenging to stay present. Be kind to yourself, and keep practicing.

By incorporating mindfulness into your daily routine, you can improve your overall well-being and enjoy a greater sense of peace and contentment in your life.

Apart of the recovery process after leaving a relationship with a narcissist is knowing how to deal with the loss and trauma. Here are 6 actionable steps that you can take to start your personal healing process. 1. Acknowledge your feelings: It is important to acknowledge the emotions you are experiencing, such as anger, sadness, or confusion. Allow yourself to feel these emotions without judging yourself or feeling guilty.
2. Seek support: Talking to a therapist, trusted friend or family member can help you process your feelings and gain a fresh perspective on the situation.
3. Take care of yourself: Engage in self-care activities such as exercise, eating well, getting enough sleep, and practicing relaxation techniques.
4. Set boundaries: Narcissists can be controlling and manipulative, so setting boundaries is important to protect yourself from further harm. This can include limiting contact or cutting off contact entirely.
5. Practice forgiveness: Forgiveness does not mean forgetting or condoning the behavior of the narcissist, but rather freeing yourself from the negative emotions that hold you back.
6. Focus on personal growth: Use this experience as an opportunity for personal growth and self-reflection. Take the time to explore your values, goals, and aspirations and make a plan for moving forward.
Remember, healing is a process and it takes time. Be patient and kind to yourself as you navigate this journey of recovery.

Narcissistic abuse can be particularly insidious because it often involves a power dynamic in which the abuser seeks to maintain their superiority and dominance over their victim.
While other forms of abuse may share some similarities with narcissistic abuse, such as emotional manipulation and control, there are some key differences. For example, physical abuse involves the use of physical force to harm or intimidate a victim, while sexual abuse involves the use of sexual acts or behavior to coerce or control a victim. Other forms of abuse, such as verbal abuse or emotional abuse, may also involve manipulation and control, but they may not necessarily be driven by a desire to maintain dominance over the victim. In contrast, narcissistic abuse is often motivated by the abuser's need for power and control, and the victim may be deliberately targeted and manipulated in order to maintain the abuser's sense of superiority.
