He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland in 2003 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2007. He has been practicing for seven years and is proficient at both medicine and surgery. Being born and raised in Rockaway and currently residing in Boonton, NJ, he strives to serve his local community.

Did you know a swallowed penny can be toxic to pets?
Pennies minted after 1982 contain over 97 percent zinc. When ingested, that zinc can destroy red blood cells and damage organs.

Signs of toxicity may include vomiting, pale gums, orange urine, weakness.

If you think your pet swallowed a coin, contact your veterinarian or animal poison control center right away. Early action matters.
