Education: SCC - Lincoln. I was in architecture school for a year before getting my RN.

In your own words, what will you be doing at NHO: I will be using my experience to help patients at NHO feel supported, reassured, and comfortable during their treatment journey.

Fun fact about myself: I almost ran over Jack Johnson on his bike on the North Shore of Oahu. I had no idea it was him until my cousin, an Oahu local, yelled: "DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU JUST ABOUT RAN OVER?"

What do you love to do when not working: golfing, snuggling with my dogs, antiquing/thrifting, traveling

Favorite place in the world: Lewis & Clark Lake

What’s on your bucket list: travel to Ireland, golf in all 50 states

What excites you about working at NHO: I’m thankful to be a part of such a talented and supportive team (both to patients and new employees!). I'm also excited to learn a whole new "world" of nursing.

ChatGPT told me, "From the little I know about you & our conversations, I'd describe you most like a Golden Retriever. You're loyal, warm & empathetic, playful but nice, resilient & adaptable & people-centered." I think it's a great comparison to who I am, although I'm a little biased. 😉

What are you looking forward to the most about working at NHO?
Expanding my comfort zone as a nurse & learning new territories in my nursing career, compared to the last 11 years of nursing. I'm also very excited to be able to work in a specialty area that had always been a dream of mine, however, never a reality, where I previously lived and worked.
