Congratulations to our Hear Together Give Together winner, Aubrey!✨🦻🎶

Aubrey has struggled with hearing loss her entire life. Despite this, she has displayed resilience and an extraordinary commitment to serving others.
Professionally, Aubrey is a dedicated and hard working pediatric nurse. Personally, despite her hearing challenges, she constantly pours her energy into caring for her infant son and family.

Bill has some advice!
My advice to people thinking about a cochlear implant is to at least get the consult done and learn as much about them as possible. My cochlear implant was like getting a WHOLE NEW LIFE!! I spent 30 yrs not understand the words to Christmas carols until I had the implant! I also hear sounds now that I don’t think I’ve ever heard before in my life!! My family is amazed at how well I hear at gatherings and they have noticed how happy I am now! I also love that I have two different external processors that I can switch between. Thank you Dr. Schott for all you’ve done for me!! ~Bill

Getting a hearing aid doesn’t mean you’re done taking care of your hearing, it just means your routine looks a little different! 👂🏻 ✨

Day-to-day maintenance is simple:
✔️ Wipe them down nightly with an alcohol wipe
✔️ Charge your hearing aids

That’s your foundation.

Long-term success comes from professional maintenance, too. Once a year, we recommend scheduling a dedicated cleaning and check up with your provider or come to our Walk in Hour quarterly. This allows us to deep clean your hearing aids, make sure they’re working their best, and catch small issues before they become big ones.

It’s also a great chance to ask questions, refresh your care, habits, and keep your hearing aids, looking and functioning their best!!
