Starting next week — Thursday, November 6, Melanie Mitchell, Cancer Partners’ Registered Dietitian, will be available in our lobby (next to the Pharmacy) on the first Thursday of every month from 9–10:30 AM.

She’ll be there to connect, answer your questions, and offer helpful guidance. Stop by and say hello!

Pumpkin Decorating Contest Results Are In!
Thanks to everyone who voted in our Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Contest! We're excited to announce that the Pharmacy team has won the competition. Their “Phish Tank” display wowed voters with creative details — including a pumpkin snail and an individualized prescription for the puffer fish! Also, for those of you who tried to guess how many candy corns were used for the MD Nurses’ puffer fish, the final tally was a whopping 3,725!

We are proud to take part in Operation Warm, a heartwarming initiative that provides brand-new coats to children in need in our community. Thanks to Lincoln Fire Fighters Local 644 and many generous local businesses, we helped bring warmth to over 1,500 kids across four local elementary schools this season.

We are grateful to be part of a community that cares so deeply.

Each month, we celebrate the artists whose work brings beauty, comfort, and inspiration to the April Sampson Cancer Center.

For October, we’re proud to feature a striking collection in our lobby by Francisco Souto, a Venezuelan-born American artist renowned for his intricate drawings and prints. Mr. Souto has been a member of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln faculty for over 20 years and currently serves as Director of UNL’s School of Art, Art History & Design.

“The delicate process of creating this piece involved a slow and deliberate approach, mirroring the ever-present feeling of the vast landscape.”
