Sikhona Holistic Therapy + Wellness

Sikhona Holistic Therapy + Wellness Helping you create a life you're proud to call your own. https://linktr.ee/sikhonaholistictherapy Do you you feel distant from your spouse or partner?

Is anxiety or depression taking over? Are you questioning your ability as a parent? It's important for you to know if you're suffering with depression or anxiety, grieving the loss of a loved one, reliving a traumatic event, or struggling in your marital or parent-child relationships, there is help and you don't have to go it alone. At New Life Psychotherapy, I'll walk alongside you and offer guidance, support, and tools that will help you bring joy and connection back into your life. As an MFT, I specialize in helping couples and families better understand and truly hear each other. Successful parenting and deeply-connected marriages aren't a walk-in-the-park to achieve, and my training enables me to balance all the perspectives relationships bring and help you create lasting change. I focus on your strengths (yes, you do have them; quite a few I'm willing to bet) and will help you access those as you navigate change. I'm also trained in EMDR, a proven effective treatment for the healing of trauma. Call or email today to set up an appointment!

After the popularity and success of the Men’s Group (real change and real friendships are happening there!), the therapist who started it wanted to create a similar but unique space for women ❤️

Starting Thursday, September 18th: Her Voice, Her Village is a welcoming group where women can come together to share experiences, celebrate wins, navigate challenges, and grow alongside one another. Over coffee-style conversation; with a bit of professional guidance from Cody Perrien, LMFT to keep it safe, confidential, and supportive; you can speak freely, listen deeply, and build genuine friendships that extend beyond the room.

For more info or to sign up, please email or call Cody at cody@sikhonatherapyne.com / 402-318-5878

Expecting? Research shows high rates of decreased relationship satisfaction after a new baby enters the scene, but it doesn’t have to be this way! A little prep goes a long way when it comes to safeguarding your relationship and strengthening its foundation so that you not only combat against decreased satisfaction, but experience improved communication, teamwork, and friendship long after baby arrives!

Mallorie Terry, certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator, will be leading a Bringing Baby Home workshop series starting April 26th.

Email Mallorie directly at mallorie@sikhonatherapyne.com to register! Your newest family member will thank you :)

It can be easy to judge ourselves for past mistakes, but remember: you have information now that you didn’t have at that time, and probably couldn’t have had at that time because you hadn’t had the experience yet. Compassion and curiosity go a long way in learning ❤️

Don't let what could have been keep you from what can be now! It's *never* too late to begin something worthwhile.

Please share wherever you can and donate to the effort if possible, and let others know nobody has to be out there in those elements alone and without shelter!!!

///EDIT FOR MORE INFO///
For those of you asking how you can help in addition to getting the word out and praying for the homeless and our staff:

• Send a financial donation here: https://secure.pcmlincoln.org/forms/donate

• Purchase items from our Amazon Wish list that are sent directly to the shelter here: https://a.co/5RcBDIM

• Drop off items to donate (twin sized blankets, warm socks, gloves, sleeping mats) at our shelter at 110 Q St., but we encourage caution when going out with the weather expected. Stay safe!

We are overwhelmed, but not surprised, at the outpouring of love and care for the homeless in Lincoln. THANK YOU.
///

The next several days are going to be dangerously cold for anyone out on the streets. With more snow on the forecast, the dropping temperature and wind chill can be fatal to the homeless.

We are opening our doors to EVERYONE. If you need a place to stay, head to the Mission. This also applies to anyone who has been asked to stay away from PCM. Our main priority is keeping the homeless safe. ❤️

Please help us in spreading this message. If you see anyone on the streets, please tell them to seek shelter and that the Mission on 110 Q St. is open.

If you have any questions, give us a call at 402-475-1303.

Let’s link arms Lincoln and keep our most vulnerable safe. 🫶🏼
