🍎 The Eatable Alphabet: Where Cooking Meets Curiosity - Online Class
This program is currently in its pilot phase, and participant feedback is welcomed and valued as we continue to refine and strengthen the curriculum. Designed to foster healthy eating habits and early nutrition awareness, the program introduces children to 26 different foods and simple recipes, encouraging hands-on exploration of nutrition and basic cooking skills in a fun and engaging way.

Intentionally created for shared participation, the curriculum provides caregivers and parents with accessible tools to meaningfully engage, educate, and connect with the children in their care. Each letter-themed food exploration is complemented by thoughtfully designed activities that support pre-reading development, sensory engagement, and early interest in math and science, while nurturing curiosity, observation, critical thinking, and self-awareness.

Date: Wednesday, April 15, 2026
Time: 1 pm - 2 pm (mountain time)
Cost: Free but Registration is Required
Register for The Eatable Alphabet online class at: go.unl.edu/nmxw
