GREAT PLACE TO WORK
Eastmont has been certified as a “Great Place to Work” by Activated Insights, the company that conducts our annual team member survey. Eastmont joins four other Nebraska communities to earn this certification. In order to qualify, we needed at least 50% participation of Team Members to respond (we had 61%) and then we needed to achieve an overall trust factor of 75 (ours was 75). Eastmont—a great place to work, a great place to live!

EASTMONT SHARES THANKS, BLESSINGS
Residents and team members gathered in the Performing Arts Center on November 26, to enjoy prayer, reflection, commemorative music by the Eastmont Choir, and humor in celebration of Thanksgiving. Executive Director Andrew Fisher welcomed about 80 people to honor this moment. Pastors John Duling, Kerry O’Bryant and Richard Terrell shared messages of faith, praise and remembrance. Kathleen Wiser, a volunteer for FoodNet of Lincoln, spoke about the growing need for food assistance which had grown 25% this season. The offering of $764 from Residents and team members was given to FoodNet.

CELEBRATING NATIONAL VETERANS DAY
November 11 marked a very special Veterans Day tribute to Eastmont Residents and Team Members who served our country. Veterans and spouses filled the Springfield Restaurant and enjoyed breakfast and an Eastmont Veterans Tribute Program. The keynote speaker was Eastmont’s own Human Resources Director Cpt. Cindy Mefford with her presentation about women in the military. The Eastmont Choir performed a beautiful patriotic medley and two of our female veterans shared the solemn meaning of the “MIA/POW White Table.”
