Every time you toggle from phone to task, task to notification, background podcast to actual thought, your nervous system registers it. Tiny stress responses, stacking up all day.
That scattered, low-grade exhausted feeling by 3pm? This is part of it.
Try one thing today, done as the only thing. No phone. No background noise. No half-attention.
Shower. Tea. The drive to school. Pick the smallest one.
And notice if it feels weirdly uncomfortable, because it probably will. That discomfort is useful information.

Two minutes. Five if you've got it. Just stand in the light and let your nervous system register that it's daytime and it's okay.
Your brain doesn't wake up from information. It wakes up from light. This is actually how the circadian system works → morning light exposure sets the whole clock for the day.
No productivity angle. No goal. Just: outside, light, breathe.
Try it for five days and tell me if your mornings feel slightly less like drowning.

Most people don't end their day. They just stop having energy.

That's not an ending. That's a crash.

And your nervous system knows the difference, which is why you can be exhausted and still not be able to rest. Your brain is still running in the background.

What actually helps: a transition. Three minutes. Same steps, same order, every night. Not because the steps are magic, but because the consistency is the signal. You're telling your system: we're done now. It's safe.

Dim the lights. Wash your face. Breathe slowly. Something that simple.

Wellness was never one-size-fits-all amd healing should not require masking.

I spent 11 years running a brick and mortar wellness space that I created for people who were different. The anxious ones and the sensitive ones. The people who never quite fit inside polished wellness culture.

Honestly, I built that space because I needed it too. 

I’m a wellness professional who couldn’t find wellness that worked for my own brain and vibes. Always too performative, too bright… too “just think positive.”

After I transitioned out of my studio, the OBW Collective became the next evolution: a yearlong nervous system + community care program for neurodivergent / alternative / sensitive humans who are done pretending mainstream wellness was built for us.

Because it wasn’t.

And that doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with us, it means we build different containers now.

Enrollment is open - Summer Season starts June 2.
