In Fall 2025, we will be hosting our very first Christian Birth Worker Conference in Metro Detroit!

This one-day event is designed to refresh, encourage, and equip birth professionals who are passionate about blending faith with their work. There will be worship, biblical teaching, prayer, and fellowship with people who understand the challenges and joys of serving families with Christ at the center.

You’ll have the chance to connect with other Christian birth professionals to network. This is for ALL Birthworkers from RNs, doulas, midwives, chiropractors, pelvic floor therapists etc!! We hope you leave feeling inspired, supported, and renewed in your calling.

Hello! My name is Kristi San Miguel. I currently live in Linden, Michigan. I am a pastors wife, mother to 5 girls, and a homeschool educator. I just became a certified birth doula through AWWS and recently started Knit Together Doula Services LLC. I have a passion for all things birth related. My passion started after giving birth to our first baby. The birth of my daughter was the most miraculous event I had ever experienced and I fell in love with Gods design for birth. As a birth doula, I aim to serve families with unwavering support from a biblical perspective on pregnancy and birth. I am so grateful God led me to A Woman Who Serves. I am excited to start serving families as they embark on this amazing time in their lives.
