EMT - Required 1 year experience as full-time BLS provider, preferred two years. Required current National Registry EMT-Basic certification, current BLS (CPR), current Maryland EMT-B or obtain within 90 days. Current District of Columbia EMT-B or obtain within 90 days; current Pennsylvania EMT-B or obtain within 90 days.
Paramedic: Required two years of EMS/interfacility experience with a minimum of one year as ALS provider. Required current National Registry Paramedic, current State of Maryland Paramedic, current ACLS & BLS (CPR). Current District of Columbia Paramedic or obtain within 90 days. Current Pennsylvania Paramedic or obtain within 90 days. Current PALS, STABLE, NRP, EPC, PHTLS or obtain within 180 days.
Transport Coordinator: Required two years as EMT-B, preferred experience on ALS inter-facility team and/or as dispatcher. Required current Maryland EMT-B & current BLS (CPR). National Registry EMT-B and District of Columbia EMT-B preferred. Ability to work in fast-paced, high volume call center utilizing multiple software platforms and make clinical decisions to assign appropriate resources.
ALS Operations Supervisor: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Required minimum of two years’ experience as ALS provider. Required current National Registry Paramedic, current State of Maryland Paramedic, current ACLS & BLS (CPR). Current District of Columbia Paramedic or obtain within 90 days. Current Pennsylvania Paramedic or obtain within 90 days. Current PALS, STABLE, NRP, EPC, PHTLS or obtain within 180 days. Required current CCEMT-P or obtain within first two years.
Communications Center Manager: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Current Maryland EMT-B or higher, current BLS (CPR). Five years full-time experience as medical dispatcher required; three years supervisory experience preferred. Previous experience within a hospital based critical care transport system preferred.
