🌊 A River Still Runs Through It… Our theme for marriage retreats this year 💍
Marriage retreats have a bad rap and we are trying to reverse that tide. ⏪ ⏪
It is much simpler to make a marriage retreat efficient than to make it effective.
Information is really important but information by itself does not produce transformation. Jesus invited his first followers to “Come and See” (John 1:39).
What if one weekend could shift something inside of our relationships? 🙌
Not because you figured it all out.Not because the hard stuff disappeared. But because we slowed down long enough to see each other again—and to let God meet us right there.
And maybe below the hurry, and the hurt and the hard, we found some dormant Hope.
Hope that can begin to stir and reach towards the surface of our lives and relationships.
Not everything that is buried is dead 🌱 A thirsty desert 🌵 and a thirsty relationship can still bloom when a River Runs Through It.
We had the privilege of doing 4 marriage retreats this summer (3 in AZ , 1 in CO) AND something beautiful happened.✨💖There was laughter (silly games with great prizes, anyone?), there were tears, and there were holy moments—reflection, words spoken, hands held tighter than they’ve been in years.
It isn’t just time away.It was time together. With each other—and with God. 🫶🏽
Some couples left with hearts full and light. Others carried home questions and awareness of their need for more. Either way, that sacred pause reminded us all:God is good, and He is for your marriage.
We’re cheering for you. Always. 📣
