Thursday evening we held our Annual “Bourbon, Brews and Bluegrass” Community Event.
We had Singing Sliders food truck, Litchfield Distillery, Norbrook Brewery, and music by “Wires & Wood”. Thanks to the generosity of our community businesses for their donations to make our raffle such a success! We raised over $1,600.00 to give to the CT Alzheimer’s Association!

National Assisted Living Week at BRANDYWINE Living at Litchfield.
Day one begins with a Grandparent’s Day “ Garden Party”.
We thank Rebecca Kowalski, our Gardener who arranged flowers with residents and families for “takeaways” and John Acerbi, owner of the Litchfield hills Nursery, for kindly allowing us to “borrow” beautiful plants to decorate our patio for our event. Dining Services for a delicious array of delectables and Herbal Teas.
Our families and residents had a wonderful afternoon together, making for an awesome day one of celebrating Assisted Living Week!
