Make your house a HOME! There is nothing softer or warmer than one of our cowhide rugs.

Our hides are tanned with Alum which makes a soft, yet durable hide that is waterproof and stain resistant with a nontoxic finished hide.

Vegetable and “Brain” tanned leather will stink or even rot when wet. Imported hides are tanned using Chromium which can cause contact dermatitis and other allergies. The Chromium salts can even oxidize to form Chromium-VI (hexavalent chromium) which is incredibly toxic causing birth defects and cancers like leukemia! Check out the article below for more details.

We have solved all these toxicity problems with our tanning and finishing processes.
