🚨 Update (February, 2nd): As road conditions are still hazardous this morning with many roads being covered in ice and and temperatures not expected to rise above freezing until later this afternoon we have made the decision for everyone’s safety to remain closed. We will continue to monitor the roads and open when it is safe to do so. Please be safe and stay warm.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize everyone’s safety and well-being.

Please stay safe and warm, and we’ll keep you updated on our reopening plans as the road conditions improve.

Holiday Hours Update from Heavenly Paws Pet Crematory

We will be closed on New Year’s Eve (December 31) and New Year’s Day (January 1) and will reopen with normal business hours on January 5.

We will also have limited availability for house-call and office appointments again this week as we finalize routine equipment maintenance and prepare for the New Year.

Please know we will remain fully available to all of our client animal hospitals during this time. If you are in need of assistance, please contact your primary care veterinarian. When daytime practices are closed, Animal Emergency Hospital of the Strand (843-445-9797) will be available evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM, as well as throughout the holiday.

🎄 Holiday Hours Update from Heavenly Paws Pet Crematory 🎄

We will be closed beginning December 24th and will reopen with normal business hours on December 29th. Today, 12/22 and tomorrow 12/23, we will be operating on a very limited schedule as we complete routine end-of-year maintenance at our facility.

Please know that we will remain fully available to all of our client animal hospitals during any closures. If you are in need of services when your regular daytime veterinary practice is closed, Animal Emergency Hospital of the Strand 843.445.9797 will be available in the evenings beginning at 6:00 PM through 8:00 AM, as well as throughout the holiday weekend.

Thanksgiving Hours. 🦃 🍁
We will be closing early today, Wednesday, November 26th at 12:00 pm and will reopen again with our normal business hours on Monday, December 1st.

If you experience loss or difficulty over those days, we can still help you through any of our client hospitals that may be open and/or through the Animal Emergency Hospital of The Strand located on Beaver Run Blvd in Myrtle Beach (843 445 9797) as they will be open during this time. The folks at all of our client hospitals are absolutely wonderful 😊 and they will be sure your pet is well cared for.

🚧 Update from Our Office 🚧

We’ve been doing our best to work around the ongoing utility work happening on Highway 90, right in front of our office. At this time, the utility company has temporarily blocked the side road to our building while they replace the poles.

We’re hopeful they’ll be finished later this evening or at best tomorrow morning but they can’t give us any concrete timeline—-we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or delays this may cause. Thank you for your patience and understanding! 🙏

🚧 Service Update 🚧

Unbeknownst to us, the power company has started replacing all the utility poles along Highway 90. We were notified yesterday afternoon that they’ll be working directly in front of our building today, which means we’ll be without power for an extended period.

We sincerely apologize for any delays or inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience. We hope to be back up and running very soon! 💛

In observance of Independence Day, we will be closed this Friday, July 4, 2025 and will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 7, 2025.

If you experience loss or difficulty during this time, we can still help you. If your beloved pet is a patient at any one of our client animal hospitals, they will be able to assist you in your time of need during their normal business hours. We can also provide services for you through the Animal Emergency Hospital of The Strand (Beaver Run Blvd, Myrtle Beach/ 843 445 9797). The folks at any of our client animal hospitals are there for you during your time of need just as we would be and they are absolutely wonderful 😊, they will be sure your pet is well cared for. And of course you can always call us with any questions.

Hey, Family!
Kristen and I have done everything in our power to keep up for the last 7 days, despite being sick. We keep things small without a bunch of employees, because we know it's nearly impossible to find people who care as much as we do.
The drawback, is that when we get sick, we have no one to fall back on to keep things going. This has been the case lately. With a little luck, we will be back on schedule after the weekend is over. We thank you so much for your patience and continued trust until that time.
