Meet Tammy Coulter! Tammy is our new Memory Care Director here at The Blake πŸŽ‰

Originally from North Little Rock, Tammy attended North Arkansas College in Harrison, Arkansas. She graduated from the LPN program in 2001 and then went on to earn her LPN-RN in 2008. Tammy is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and holds an Assisted Living Administrator's license for AR. She holds over 25 years of experience in senior living ranging from Director of Wellness to Regional Wellness Director.

Tammy's passion is dementia training and teaching others about challenges faced as the disease progresses, for not just residents, but families and staff too. "I enjoy being with the residents, families, and staff and providing 'Tammy's Teachable Moments' to assist in any way possible to promote effective line of communication with a caring cause and approach."

A mom of three and grandmom of 14, Tammy can be found hanging out with her family in her free time or participating in VA programs and volunteering with the Human Development Centers throughout Arkansas.

We are proud to welcome Tammy to The Blake family!

Residents in assisted living and memory care had a blast at the Museum of Discovery. We tested our grip strength, laid on a bed of nails, and more! This was such a fun activity and benefitted each of us in more ways than one.
