Congrats to Dr. Ryan Waters, ED physician at North, on being named a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero! Dr. Waters recently had an uninsured patient who couldn't afford her meds. Instead of just writing a prescription, Dr. Waters took time to make some calls and find an affordable option. He then sat down with her and thoroughly explained her new meds and answered all her questions. Dr. Waters made sure to give the patient the help she needed most, and for that we are so proud to honor him today!

Our Pet of St. Vincent this week is Sara, a 14-year-old Pomeranian Chihuahua owned be Melanie Delgman, RN, at the Infirmary! Sara loves her people, especially when it's bedtime and she claims the pillow space beside her mom. She is quick to communicate when it's dinner time and when it's time to go outside. We're glad we could spotlight this lovely senior pup!
