Motherhood doesn’t just change your life—it changes you.

It reshapes your body.
It redefines your identity.
It expands your heart in ways you never saw coming.

And while the world tells you to “bounce back,” what if you gave yourself permission to become forward instead?

It’s easy to feel like you’re falling short or that you’re not doing enough. Whether it’s the endless to-do lists, the pressure to be “perfect,” or the guilt of feeling like you’re not doing motherhood exactly as you imagined... it’s easy to fall into the trap of self-doubt.

But here’s the truth: You’re doing better than you think.

Just getting out of bed when it feels overwhelming is an act of strength. 
Taking a break and putting your needs first is an act of self-love. 
Noticing your emotions instead of hiding them is a huge step toward emotional resilience.

This December, I stepped back from posting to fully embrace the beauty (and chaos!) of the holiday season with my little ones. It’s been a month of messy cookie-making, twinkling lights, and so many cherished moments—moments that remind me why I’m so passionate about helping other moms navigate their own journeys.

As I reflect on this season, I’m reminded that motherhood isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up—imperfectly, lovingly, and wholeheartedly—for the people who matter most. And sometimes, that means being present in ways the world doesn’t always see.

🔹 When guilt hits for asking for help: Remind yourself that strength comes from knowing when to lean on others. You don’t have to do it all—let your village support you!

Here’s how to shift your perspective:

💜Focus on Progress, Not Perfection: Celebrate the small wins, like how your body has healed or what it can do now. Recognize and appreciate these positive changes, even if they’re gradual.

💜Practice Self-Compassion: Talk to yourself as you would to a friend. Replace negative thoughts with kind and understanding words, acknowledging the incredible journey your body has been through.

Today holds a special place in my heart as I reflect on the journey that brought my two beautiful rainbow babies into this world.

Both of my girls are rainbow babies, and the road to holding them in my arms was filled with more dark and stormy times than I ever could have imagined.

The heartache, the waiting, the wondering if I would ever get to this moment—these are feelings that some may never experience, but for those of us who have, the journey changes us.

On this Rainbow Baby Day, we honor not just the precious little ones who bring light and color after the storm of loss, but also the strength, resilience, and unwavering love that carried us through those darkest days.

For every mother, the journey to motherhood is unique. For some, it’s a path filled with heartache, hope, and eventually, the incredible joy of holding a rainbow baby—a symbol of hope restored and the promise of a future filled with love.

Let’s celebrate these beautiful babies who remind us that after every storm comes a rainbow.

Let’s break it down together!

We often think breastfeeding entails:

Proper latch
Frequent feedings
Nutrition
Hydration
Rest
Support
Patience
Determination
Bonding time

And while those are all important factors, there’s something just as important:

Why does our mindset matter?

Because our thoughts shape our reality.

A positive outlook can reduce stress, boost confidence, and enhance the overall experience, making it more fulfilling and empowering.
