This is what personal training actually looks like — consistent work, smart strength programming, and a coach there when the weight gets heavy.

Progress like this doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from showing up, building strength over time, and having guidance to push past old limits.

Big shoutout to Steve for putting in the work. 🔥

Consistency doesn’t come from motivation alone.

It comes from showing up — week after week — surrounded by people doing the same.

That’s the power of group fitness.

Coaching, community, and a room full of people working toward something better.

If your front rack collapses during squats, your upper back and shoulders might be the missing link.

Enter the kettlebell barn door squat.

You’ll perform a front-rack squat with two kettlebells, and as you stand tall, rotate the bells outward — opening the shoulders like “barn doors.”

Now your squat isn’t JUST about the legs.
Your shoulders, upper back, and core have to work to stabilize and control the movement. 💪

How to do it:• Start with two kettlebells in the front rack• Perform a controlled squat• As you stand tall, rotate the kettlebells outward• Return to the rack position• Move slowly — control matters more than load

Why it works:• builds squat strength• improves shoulder stability• activates upper back and traps• reinforces a strong front rack• challenges core stability ⚡️

Small tweaks to familiar exercises can make them much more effective.
Save this one to try later. 🔖
