Snapped a pic of my nutrient dense salad for lunch before I gobbled it up. It had romaine, arugula, sardines, avocado, green onions, carrots, radish, bell pepper, cucumber, dried cherries and Dijon balsamic dressing. I paired with some cheddar and sour cream chips for some crunch. A great balance of protein, fat, carbs and fiber to keep me full for hours and blood sugar balanced.

Hello, hello! I’m Erin, the face behind Warrior Wellness. I’m passionate about helping women work through hormonal imbalance and skin issues. If you scroll right you can see the cystic acne I was dealing with in 2014. I was at my wit’s end and for a moment thought Accutane was my only option, but my intuition told me there had to be a better way. I worked with a nutritionist and completely overhauled my diet and wellness practices. I enjoy the process so much I pursued my own holistic nutrition certification from . I’ve continued to learn including nervous system practices to ground for when hormonal symptoms are taking over.

I find a bagel very comforting on a cold winter day and have been making them from scratch lately. I rotate between two recipes. Today’s was from where you boil them. The recipe is grain free but I’ve been playing around with other flours since tapioca is pretty high on the glycemic index. I used gluten free flour in addition to the almond flour so these are not grain free. I like to top with organic cream cheese, grass fed butter and no sugar added jam or cashew butter.
