Reinventing the body, resurrecting the soul

This is my story of how and why I became a yoga instructor and massage therapist. This fall will be my 12 year anniversary for my motor vehicle accident I was T-boned on the driver side of the vehicle. I broke a few bones, had a few internal injuries, such as a brain injury. I had just turned 40, working at Upstate Hospital, where I have been employed for more than 25 years, and also working as a Individual Living Skills Trainer for people that have also suffered a brain injury. Life obstacles can change your direction or wake you up.

In 2012 I became a Certified Yoga Instructor through Infinite Light Yoga in Syracuse, NY. I proudly obtained my license from OSTM Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in March 2016. In 2017 I got involved in Hands & Hearts in Action: Massage for Veterans Program Crouse Irving and Clear Path for Veteans

My concentration is in massage for therapeutic care. I use hot stones, table warmer, using shiatsu & sports massage techniques.

In my free time I enjoy volunteering with Clear Path Massage for Veterans Program, The American Heart Association, The Red Cross, The Veterans Administration, The Lions Club, Hiking, Kayaking, Exercising & Yoga & Meditating.
