Patient selection for this type of reconstruction is critical.
Read below to see who is a good candidate for this:

☑️Relatively small breasts
☑️Minimal to no ptosis (sagging)
☑️No significant medical history
☑️Non-smoker

This type of reconstruction is good for patients getting prophylactic mastectomies due to high risk gene mutations or significant family histories. This can also be done for patients with active cancer based on tumor size and location relative to the ni**le ar**la complex.

Advantages include:
1️⃣. One operation
2️⃣. No animation deformity compared to under the muscle
3️⃣. Much less pain when compared to implants that go under the muscle
4️⃣. Done as an outpatient
