This patient was treated with PDO threads to address laxity in the mid and lower face, with a noticeable lift and improved contour immediately after treatment.
Threads work by mechanically repositioning tissue at the time of placement, which is where you see the most visible change. As they dissolve, there is some collagen stimulation, but the initial lift is the primary benefit.
This is a great option for patients looking for a quick refresh or a subtle “pick-me-up”... especially when timing matters (weddings, events, reunions, etc.)
The results are real, just not permanent. As the threads dissolve and tissue settles, the lift will gradually soften.
Threads can be very effective in the right patient, but they are not a replacement for more definitive, long-term treatments for laxity.

Upper blepharoplasty by Dr. Buro 👏

These photos show her progression from pre-op markings to 1 week post-op. At this stage, the majority of swelling and bruising has already improved and will continue to resolve over the next week. Most patients are able to return to regular activities around this point, with makeup helping to conceal any remaining discoloration.

Early result, but already a more open, refreshed appearance while maintaining her natural features. 4-week follow-up coming soon!

Sorry for the wait- we’ve been super busy at the office!
In this video, I am breaking down everything Ali has done over the past 6 years. Her results are not from one treatment, but from a variety of small, consistent treatments done over time.

4 months post-op rhinoplasty with 👏

This patient previously had a liquid rhinoplasty to camouflage a dorsal hump, but her underlying concerns remained: her hump, tip asymmetry, and compromised breathing.

Surgical goals were to address structure and function while maintaining her natural anatomy. She specifically wanted to preserve some of her nasal definition in line with her Italian heritage... so this was not about over-reduction, but controlled refinement.

At 4 months, she is breathing well and has improved balance through the dorsum and tip, with a result that looks natural and consistent with her features. Still early in the healing process, with continued refinement expected.

Cheek filler + marionette—one supports, the other softens. When you restore structure in the midface, you can take pressure off the lower face and clean up those heavier lines without overfilling.
