As most of us head home to be with our families, some people never will. It’s 9/11. A day that changed all of us in one way or the other. This day shaped the world and how we view it. We will NEVER forget the lives and sacrifices given. As today settles down I ask that we as a community reflect on what has transpired over the last few days and what 9/11 means to you. I invite you to share your thoughts and concerns and a memory you have from 9/11.

We as a nation need to unite and lean on each other. There’s so much love to give.

Never forget what this days means.

Happy birthday to our Michael Wilson
Everyday we get to spend with you is a good one. He’s the one you call when you can’t reach things, but also the one to call when you have a bad day. Wilson, you make work fun even when you cook cabbage and stink the whole station up. We love ya and hope that this is the best year yet!!!

📚 First Day of Paramedic School

We have 4 employees attending Paramedic School this fall through next summer. We are excited they have taken this step in their careers. Volunteer State and Motlow State Community Colleges are getting a wonderful group of students.

Please wish them well as it is an extremely challenging year as a student, provider, and in their personal lives. This time next year we will have 4 new paramedics to better serve the citizens and visitors of Overton County. We know they will exceed expectations and make everyone proud!

Go get em!

As you all may know back in June we lost a big part of help here at the fair booth! KL always made it fun to be out here and he was always here every night cracking jokes about the lion sauce! Kl loved it out here and for that reason we will have a donation bucket out front in his honor! We would like to say that every single penny that gets put in this bucket will go directly to KLs kids. So please if you stop by we would greatly appreciate you showing as much love to this bucket as possible!!!!!
