Passing the Torch:
A Legacy of Giving in Park County
At its heart, philanthropy is not just about giving, it’s about what we pass on.
At the Livingston HealthCare Foundation, we are deeply grateful to recognize Board Member Mark Pesa, owner of Guardian Title, and his daughter, Jamison Pesa, owner of Livingston MT Rentals, for their recent Business Sponsorship. Their support is meaningful in itself, but what makes it truly special is the story behind it—a father showing his daughter what it means to care for a community.
Those lessons don’t come from words alone. They are shaped through action, through quiet decisions to give, to show up, and to invest in something larger than ourselves. In that way, philanthropy becomes something deeply personal, a value that is lived, shared, and carried forward.
In communities like ours, those moments matter. As Park County’s population grows older, the future of the causes we care about will rest in the hands of the next generation. The question isn’t just who will give, but who is learning, right now, what giving looks like.
The answer is found in families like the Pesas.
There are countless ways to make a difference, through volunteering, sharing your story, offering a kind word or connection, or making a financial gift. Each act, no matter the size, becomes part of something bigger. And when those acts are witnessed by the next generation, they become something lasting.
We are honored to celebrate Mark and Jamison not only for their generosity but for the legacy they are building together, one that will help ensure the spirit of giving continues to shine brightly in Park County for years to come.
