At Trinity Health At Home, we’re proud to have a national network of home health and hospice experts who support one another to deliver the best care possible.

Recently, Barb S., National Director of Quality and Clinical Services, and Kelly E., Regional Director of Clinical Education, visited our Saint Agnes Home Health and Hospice agency in Fresno, California. They joined nurses on home visits, shared feedback and offered practical tips to help the team continue to thrive.

Remember to be careful on the ice and snow this winter. ❄️🐧

These tips can keep you safe and prevent a slip or fall:
1. Go slow! Leave early and take your time.
2. Wear safe footwear. Avoid heels and shoes without treads.
3. Walk like a penguin. Point your toes out, relax your knees, bend slightly and walk flat-footed with short steps.
4. Use your arms for balance.

🩺 42 years in nursing | 4 years in hospice care

Hospice nursing is more than a profession – it’s a calling. For Jill, that calling came from a deeply personal experience.

“Five years ago, I had a friend who passed away from cancer. I was exposed to hospice care at that time and watched my friend suffer emotionally and physically during her last year of life. I felt a calling to assist patients and their caregivers with pain management and other end-of-life symptoms. It is my mission that end-of-life should not be awful, but hopefully more peaceful and calmer.”

Jill brings over four decades of nursing experience to her role, but it’s her empathy and dedication to easing suffering that truly define her work. 💜
