Mackenzie Goold is the owner of Communication Blooms. She is a speech-language pathologist offering personalized speech and language therapy in the comfort of clients' homes in Lodi, California. She is a California licensed speech-language pathologist who has a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned a Bachelor degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from San Jose State University and a Master degree in Speech-Language Pathology from University of the Pacific.
In addition to private home-based therapy services, Mackenzie has worked in the special education school setting and in pediatric home health. She has experience working with clients ranging in age from 18 months to 22 years of age and with a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate, and Phonological Processing Disorder.
In all services she provides, Mackenzie believes in a family-centered therapy model. She is continually grateful for the opportunity to work with families and to encourage her clients' blooming communication skills.
Mackenzie is PROMPT Trained and is a Hanen It Takes Two to Talk and More Than Words Certified Therapist. Additionally, she is an Assistive Technology Specialist and has experience implementing, training on, and programming of Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems.
