Important Community Health Update:

The Bear River Health Department has confirmed a case of measles in Cache County. They are already working hard to notify anyone who may have been exposed and to keep our community safe. 💙

Possible exposure sites:
• Intermountain Budge Clinic, Logan – Sept 15 (3:00–6:30 PM)
• Chick-fil-A, Providence – Sept 11 (6:30–9:30 PM)

Measles is very contagious, but thanks to vaccines, outbreaks are still rare. Symptoms usually show up 7–14 days after exposure and may include:
• High fever
• Cough, runny nose, or red/watery eyes
• Rash that starts on the face and spreads downward

If you think you were at one of these locations during the times listed, please call the Bear River Health Department at 435-792-6500.

For our patients, if you start to feel sick with possible measles symptoms, please CALL our office BEFORE coming in so we can give you safe care instructions.

We’re excited to share that our amazing PA-C, Madi Cutler, is extending her office hours!

New schedule starting this week:
• Mondays: 2–8 p.m.
• Tuesday–Thursday: 9 a.m.–8 p.m.
• Fridays: Providers rotate for clinic hours til 6 p.m.
• Saturdays: Providers rotate for clinic hours 8 a.m.–Noon

🩺 Nurse hours remain 8 a.m.–Noon and 2–4 p.m.

They’re staying cool in the shade, rocking long-sleeved swimwear, and wearing the cutest sun hats — all great ways to protect delicate skin from the sun.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends:
✔️ Broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 15+)
✔️ Mineral ingredients like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide
✔️ Reapplying every 2 hours or after swimming or sweating
✔️ For babies under 6 months — stick to the shade when possible

Sun protection is serious business … but these babies make it look adorable! 💛

We are thrilled to introduce Tanner Duncan, DO as the newest pediatrician at Canyon Medical Group. A graduate of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences,
Dr. Duncan trained at Phoenix Children’s Hospital where he developed a strong foundation in compassionate and evidence-based care. He is a proud Utah State University and Sky View High School alum, and is thrilled to return home to a valley known for its kind people - and its Gossner’s chocolate milk.

Dr. Duncan is fluent in English and Spanish, a father of two young boys, and genuinely
enjoys working with children. He is inspired by their curiosity and finds it deeply rewarding to help them heal, grow, and thrive.
