Important Community Health Update:
The Bear River Health Department has confirmed a case of measles in Cache County. They are already working hard to notify anyone who may have been exposed and to keep our community safe. 💙
Possible exposure sites:
• Intermountain Budge Clinic, Logan – Sept 15 (3:00–6:30 PM)
• Chick-fil-A, Providence – Sept 11 (6:30–9:30 PM)
Measles is very contagious, but thanks to vaccines, outbreaks are still rare. Symptoms usually show up 7–14 days after exposure and may include:
• High fever
• Cough, runny nose, or red/watery eyes
• Rash that starts on the face and spreads downward
If you think you were at one of these locations during the times listed, please call the Bear River Health Department at 435-792-6500.
For our patients, if you start to feel sick with possible measles symptoms, please CALL our office BEFORE coming in so we can give you safe care instructions.
