Jonathans Battle w/ CHD This is about a warrior named jonathan and his journey... as he battles CHD (congential heart defect

This is jonathan, he was born with a heart defect called tetrology of fellot with pulmonary atriesia and a vsd this took us a little while to figure out this all meant so I'll simplify it. Jonathan was born fedruary 22nd 2013 he was born 6 lbs 5 oz 18 inches long.. he was so beautiful the most amazing day ever...while everything went while the day he was born and the day after we were planning on going home with him that day. They were planning on taking him back and doing last min testing before we went home. Well we waiting and he didnt come back so we walked to the nursery to find out baby boy getting oxygen pumped through him..I fell to the floor crying so hard screaming my baby. Test they did was a pulse ox test they just started doing them routinely two month before he was born...so he is very lucky to be alive with us today. He was than rushed to akron childrens hospital were he was put on medication to survive .the only thing keeping a live for two week was the ducis...as he a waited his first surgery the BT shunt..that was to reroute his blood flow so he could breath on his own...and we could take him home and let him be a normal baby...well he was in the NICU for a month and than sent home on oxygen...his oxygen levels where low every time he came off the oxygen...so they were wondering what was wrong well two month after he was born he went for a heart cath...the day after had emergency open heart surgery Jonathan was only breathing from his right lung...so they had fix it or he would die...he recover good and went home a week later. but we are now awaiting his next surgery December 5 full repair where the put a cuduit in to give him oxygen levels like us Jonathan oxygen levels now are 60 to 70%.

Jonathan got cleared for another year of no surgery!! This is great news for all our families!!
