2 year anniversary!! And I have been well this whole past year!

I haven’t posted for a while but all is good on my end. My labs are very stable finally. I’m having no concerns now since the beginning of May. We may have finally got on the right track. It was a tough year but I feel like my self again. Haven’t been able to say that since 2019. Thank you all for your love and prayers. They are working! ❤️❤️🌺

I have been dreading making this post. Thursday evening I started running a fever. I thought it was just from my Covid booster. Friday morning my fever came with weakness and dizziness. By Saturday my fever was getting higher not better so I went to the ER. I was admitted. At 2 am my fever hit 103.7 so the decision was made to transfer me to Indy. They found infection in my urine. And the CT scan showed some other issues in the new kidney. I have not heard the results of that yet. I stayed in the hospital until Tuesday afternoon. I continue to take antibiotics and steroids for now. I am very tired of sharing bad news with everyone but it is what it is.

I went back to work today and I was let go. So if anyone hears of an option for me please let me know. It seems like one thing after another but I still know God is leading me somewhere.

I had to get my flu shot Sunday. Today I was nauseous, achy, and fever. Guess being immune compromised makes a difference.

I wanted to give an update. I have had three weeks in a row good lab results. My creatinine is staying at 1.5 inches my normal. They are now weaning me off of a very low dose of steroids. Even with weaning me off of those my levels are staying normal.
This is a picture of Carrie and I making a wish on a crystal dandelion at the downtown scavenger hunt!. I am hoping my wish is coming true.

It’s been a min but they have decided to keep me on steroids for a bit to keep my numbers stable. Creatine is back to normal!
