To find alternative ways to navigate through feelings of hopelessness, sadness, loss, anxiousness, shame, hurt, frustration, pain, and all over mental wellbeing. I am here to help you learn different techniques and incorporate essential oils in to your life to give you the help I wish I had at a young age. Having navigated and overcoming so many obstacles in my life gives me a broad perspective an
d firsthand account. I grew up as a kid for many years not knowing where my mom was. I lived with my Dad a single father for several years. Unfortunately they were young when they had me and this lead them to their own issues. My mom struggled with undiagnosed depression for many years. She also grew up without her Dad and this was hard on her. She didn’t know how to cope. My Dad did everything he could to take care of us; however being a single father with 2 girls money got tight. There were many times we didn’t have much to eat, but we survived. Our home was old and ragged but my Dad taught my sister and I so many valuable life lessons. We learned how to help build that old ragged house into what we know now. We learned framing, electrical, plumbing, sheetrock and overall a good hard work ethic. Those are experiences I will never forget and always value. After a few years my mom got the help she needed and she came back. It was wonderful. I went to live with her when I was in late elementary school. I also followed in my parents footsteps and had children at a young age. I “Fell” for my high school sweetheart. At first everything was great. But by the time I realized it wasn’t great I was already pregnant with my first. I thought we were just young and stressed out. Despite all of that I worked full time and went to college. I was determined to not let my children suffer and not to be a statistic. My 2nd child came along and nothing seemed to get better. But I felt stuck. By the time it was all said and done I had 4 wonderful children I wouldn’t trade for the world. It wasn’t until my youngest was 1-1/2 I felt strong enough to get out. With the support of my sister, brother in law, mom and step dad (Whom I affectional refer to as my bonus dad) I was able to learn to stand on my own two feet. I have had many losses in my life from miscarriages to recently losing my best friend my mom. She was a great mom and it broke my heart, but using different techniques and using essential oils I have been able to navigate through it and come out the other side stronger. I have navigated through some of life’s most difficult situations beginning from a very young age. From growing up in a single parent home, to being poor and hungry sometimes, being a young parent myself, being physical and emotionally abuse, having PTSD and depression and even having 2 kids on the Autism Spectrum which come with their own behavioral issues and so much more I have learned healthy techniques to cope and work through these challenges. My life experience is where my expertise comes from. I have had the privilege in studying psychology, behavioral psychology and also working with one of the Best OT’s in the US and helping run some of her boot camps for special needs children. Plus being a mom of special needs children has given me the first-hand account to help teach my children how to cope with the many issues that they have had using these very same techniques. My hope is to help you learn how to navigate through your struggles no matter how little you may feel they are or how big they are. You are important. And it is time to put yourself first.
