Most people don’t mind the momentary pinch-sensation of the iV needle. Sometimes people get lightheaded from needle sticks – you tend to know who you are. Please let us know and we will recline your chair. How long will it take for my iV to drip? About 45-60 minutes for your iV from start to finish, depending on the person. No, our treatments are elective and do not require a primary care referral. If you have questions we can put you in touch with our medical director. Will I see a doctor at Boost IV? With 24-notice we can arrange for you to speak over the phone with our medical director. Otherwise our iV staff are highly trained and skilled professionals ready to take great care of you! Is iV therapy allowed for competitive athletes? We love taking care of elite athletes. But rules vary so if you are sponsored or have concerns, we encourage you check with your coach, sponsor or governing organizations before your Boost iV. Safe for pregnant women?
