Kajora Lovely is at Z Fabrique today giving tarot readings from 11 am to 6 pm. Walk ins welcome!
We're in the last few days of two retrogrades. Saturn goes direct on Thursday and Mercury goes direct on Saturday. If the last few weeks have been challenging, that energy is going to shift.
It doesn't mean everything will magically get better, however. But you may feel different. If you've been processing things, reflecting, and rethinking, the end of these retrogrades could bring some relief and clarity.
For the time being, the High Priestess is a reminder of your own sensitivity. You can hold boundaries, listen to your intuition, and pick your battles. Sometimes resting and retreating is the best option when you're not sure what else to do.

"There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
I've been thinking about this quote for Earth Day. In my experience, there are so many wondrous and incredible things on this planet. So much remains unknown and misunderstood, even our own history here.
And yet so many people dream of leaving, running away, or fantasize about their lifetimes on other planets and what that means for their role on this one.
I've seen my lifetimes on other planets, including one with a mass extinction event. We've had so many homes. Right now, in this lifetime, I still find so much to love and appreciate about this planet. We just need to treat it better.
This planet is home to everyone and everything that I love. We still have so much more to do here.
I took these pictures in a small hilltop town in Sicily called Pollina. It has a large watchtower that used to light fires to warn the towns below when the ships of raiders had been spotted so they had time to prepare.
At that height, among the clouds, I was reminded of the beauty of our world. And that mystical exists among the mundane - sometimes we just have to go searching for it.

There are some tarot cards that can appear scary at first. But don’t worry! Each tarot card represents a different phase in our lives. And when the “scary” looking tarot cards come up, there can be a lesson coming up for you.
In this class, tarot reader Kajora Lovely will explore the tarot cards often seen as “bad” or “scary.” She’ll go in depth into the meaning and symbolism of each card. This will help you understand what each card represents. You’ll also receive journal prompts so that when this card comes up again in your life, you’ll be prepared to meet the lesson head on.
This class will take place on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 7 pm over Zoom. It costs $35 per person, which must be prepaid in advance.
The class will be an hour and a half long and end with a Q&A. A recording of the class will be sent out to all participants afterward.
This class is for beginner to intermediate tarot card readers familiar with the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck. Everyone is welcome to attend, but this class will go deep into the symbolism and meaning of tarot cards, so a basic understanding of tarot will be beneficial.
How's that post eclipse hangover treating you? I pulled a card from The Herbcrafter's Tarot to get a sense of the energy we're all feeling after Monday's eclipse. The card that came up was Seven of Water: Birch.
I think we're all feeling like we're at a bit of a crossroads right now, and where our path leads next is up to each of us. Typically the Seven of Cups card speaks to having many choices but being bogged down in illusions. In this case, this card feels like a reminder to let the illusions go and focus on what's necessary.
What calls to your heart? What feels right? Even if it's a vague direction to go in, where do you feel yourself being drawn? The answers aren't going to be immediate, but may require taking some time to reflect on how you really feel. When in doubt, start with what you know you don't want, then go from there and see where it takes you toward.

Six years ago, around this time of year, I started to read tarot cards. It was late June 2017, almost a year since I first began to learn Reiki and about energy healing.
I became friends with .healing after meeting at Salud Juice on 2nd St in Long Beach. One day when we met up one day, she handed me a tarot card deck and a book, saying that I had a very good memory and would likely not find it hard to remember the meaning behind each card.
Until that moment it had never even occurred to me that learning tarot was something I could do. I dove in and was enthralled by the layers of artwork, history, symbolism, color theory, and more. AP Art History was my favorite class in high school, and this felt like an upgrade from that.
Even though I'd offered free reiki healing to my friends & family to practice, none of them took me up on it. But everyone wanted a tarot card reading - from my coworkers to friend's parents. By mid July I was doing multiple readings a week. By October I started reading at .
Tarot is still one of my passions and obsessions. The first documented deck was created in Milan in the 1400s and I'm sure I've used various versions of these cards in multiple lifetimes.
Because of my experience, I always encourage people to study tarot if they have an innate desire. I taught myself through various books, websites, and a ton of practice. Over the last year I taught one-on-one tarot lessons and it made me appreciate these cards even more.
I'm so grateful for all of you who have been on this journey with me, and who are on this journey still. Getting to know all of you, to work with you, to share part of your life journeys and experiences, to offer help and guidance when I can, means so much to me. ❤

Hi! I'm Kajora Lovely. I'm a tarot card reader and reiki healer.
Ever since I was a little kid, I could feel the presence of spirits and knew there was more to this world than what meets the eye. I grew up following a faith based out of India, and have traveled there several times, as well as to other parts of the world. Throughout my life I've met a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and faiths, and have studied a range of subjects.
As a tarot practitioner, I am self-taught in the ways and meanings of the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot. I am also a certified second degree reiki healer in the Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage. In my practice I incorporate my intuitive, clairaudient, and mediumship abilities, as well as my life experience and knowledge.
As a healer and card reader, I believe in helping individuals on their own unique journey. We each have our own innate gifts and abilities, and I aim to help people on their path, whether it means providing insight, giving healing love, or helping find clarification. My goal is to help you step into your power.
If you’d like to book a healing session, tarot reading, or both, I am available for in-person sessions in Long Beach, California and distance sessions over the phone, Skype, or email. To read my latest blog posts and learn more, visit kajoralovely.com. To book a session, email kajoralovely@gmail.com
