🎨 Grounding Through Doodling: “Draw Your Thoughts” ✏️

Feeling overwhelmed at your desk? Try grounding yourself through doodling! Here's how:

1. Grab a Pen & Paper – Find a piece of paper and your favorite pen or pencil.
2. Start Simple – Begin by drawing simple shapes—circles, lines, spirals, or squiggles.
3. Focus on the Movement – Pay attention to the movement of your hand as you draw, staying connected to the present moment.
4. Let It Flow – Don't worry about perfection—just let the doodles flow freely.
5. Breathe Deeply – As you draw, take slow, steady breaths to help calm your mind.

🌿 Doodling is a great way to clear mental clutter and anchor your focus. It’s simple, creative, and effective for grounding during busy workdays.

💙 Save this for later & share it with someone who could use a little creative calm!

🌿 Grounding Yourself Amidst Overwhelming News 🌿

When the media feels like too much, try these quick grounding techniques:

🔹 5-4-3-2-1 Method – Name 5 things you see, 4 things you touch, 3 things you hear, 2 things you smell, and 1 thing you taste.
🔹 Deep Breathing – Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 6. Repeat.
🔹 Limit Scrolling – Set a timer or take breaks to avoid doomscrolling.
🔹 Connect to the Present – Step outside, feel the ground beneath you, or hold something textured.
🔹 Self-Compassion – Remind yourself: “It’s okay to take a step back.”

✨ Stay present. Protect your peace. You’re allowed to disconnect. ✨
