My Spiritual Journey
My journey started at the age of 8. I went to my first Litha Celebration. The Beach, a Bonfire, Laughter and Dancing. It was absolutely Magickal! I was also gifted “Bullfinch’s Mythology” which is all the Greek Mythos! I loved it and still own it! These experiences started me on this wonderful journey!
At the age of 13 I dedicated to Hecate and Pan. Hecate, who came to me as a Warrior Goddess at the time, was my wake up call to me. I was struggling in life, had just moved back to Washington, and had a baby sister come into my life. Hecate was my side that I kept hidden from the world. I was so shy then. I needed a Goddess to help me let my Inner Goddess out! Now, Pan was representative of my Playfulness! I was in the prime of my youth. Had gone though some tremendously troubled times, and was ready to lean into my youth.
When I was 18, I was in my first Coven. It was a very serious time in life for me. Lots of learning, growing, and expanding for myself spiritually! I had rededicated my life to Kali-Ma and Ganesha. The Mother Goddess, yet Destroyer of Worlds. The Gentle Giant Elephant God with a talent to Remove Obstacles! These two kicked my butt, in a good way, and got me moving spiritually. At the age of 24, I started to get quite serious with certain aspects of my own Spiritual Journey. Studying many different paths from around the world. Incorporating them all into my own cauldron of Spiritual.
In July of 2008, the Coven I was a part of at that time, disbanded. Which left a few of us wanting to start our own. The ladies looked up to me as a leader. In August of 2008, The Circle of Shambhala Rising was born. Fast forward to Now, and we just celebrated our 11th year together!!! We are an Eclectic Coven, open to members of the community and hold Open Festivals of the Wheel of the Year!
