Texas Correctional Office on Offenders with Medical or Mental Impairments (TCOOMMI) by Learn MORE with the CORE

This year's final episode features one of CHC's TCOOMMI service providers, Kelsey Heichelheim to discuss what the program involves and how individuals are referred. Within this discussion, Kelsey breaks down the levels of care and community partners she utilizes when working with people receiving services, and how we as a society still have much to change regarding our prison systems.

The City of Marshall will be opening a warming center for those unable to escape the extreme cold approaching the area. The warming center will be located at the Marshall Fire Department Central Station on South Grove St. The warming center will be available from Thursday Dec 22 4:00 pm until Saturday Dec 24 4:00 pm

December is National Impaired Driving Month. It is important for adults to have safe drinking practices during this holiday season and avoid getting behind the wheel while under the influence. Community Healthcoreโ€™s PREV-NET team encourages parents to set an example for their youth.
