Grapefruit 4 oz provides Inositol fulfilling half the daily requirement. Inositol helps the body be insulin sensitive so it utilizes this hormone more effectively. Be mindful that caffeine and sugar can hinder its absorption. Cantaloupe and citrus fruits are recognized for their Inositol benefits, providing about a third of the daily recommended amount per serving. Chicken, beans, nuts, and seeds also contain Inositol, albeit in smaller quantities.
