It’s been a while since I’ve posted! So many great things! Working with community centers to bring health and wellness awareness to “women of a certain age” has been incredibly inspiring. This age group is leaning heavily on GLP-1s. It’s not a bad thing but part of the weight loss journey is creating new habits. That’s where the work gets harder. I’ve been so thrilled to be able to help guide the process for these communities of women.

In certain situations, eating out is unavoidable, but this doesn’t mean you have to throw your healthy habits out the window.

Here are some tips to help keep your weight loss on track when eating out:

Avoid cream-based dressings, soups, and sauces (ask for them on the side).

Opt for grilled proteins over fried.

Ask for a to-go container when you get your meal so you can save half your meal for later.

Make your own meal from veggie-based side dishes.

Dedicate a few hours once a week to meal prep, and you’ll have healthy food at the ready all week long. I suggest investing in a week's worth of glass storage containers, prep as soon as you return from the grocery store, and remove any unwanted junk food from the counter and cupboards.
