Standing and walking both put stress on your feet — but how they affect you can be very different. Long hours of standing, especially on hard surfaces or in unsupportive shoes, can place continuous pressure on your heels, arches, and lower legs, leading to pain, swelling, and fatigue.
Walking, on the other hand, keeps the muscles moving and the blood flowing, which can actually reduce stiffness and improve circulation. But too much walking without proper support can also lead to overuse injuries.
So which is more harmful?
